Thank you Kirsty and Tania...you wouldn't think that 6 sentences could be so irritating, but I am rather cross with myself for telling that he was bored rather than merely showing. Ho hum etcetera...
sometimes actually stating the point in so many words is the right thing, though....i know you can convey without explicitude, and do it very well, but occasionally actually saying what's there engages the person reading it very directly. ma
