'Rhapsody' is one of the best things I've ever read. And Lydia Davis' collected works. And the Miranda July collection is quite something, too.

If the rest of the shelf is even half as good, then there's another bunch of books to add to my birthday list...

I have Rhapsody in my to be read pile, James. I think it looks marvellous. I have only just begun dipping in & out of the Davis.
