This is utterly irresistible. It's a slim volume, with an intriguing title and cover. It is so sweet, without being in any way saccharine. I feel like I don't want to give too much away but the central concept is that everyone that Tom is friends with really is a super hero, but their special powers are not what you would guess. I know several people who have read it (it is a read in one go kinda book) and men and women alike adore it in equal measure. Nobody has had a bad word to say about it at the bookshop, which is rare. It is the sort of book to give as a gift, but you'll need one for yourself too!

By the way, you are quite good with bloggy stuff, what have I done so that my user pic and links have slid way down the bottom of the page, but now the pic appears on my replies. How did I do that? How do I put it right?
That happened to me when I used Blogger. With me, it seemed to be caused by withe rusing a picture or a link/heading that was too wide or long. Try removing really long links and using alt text instead. Also, I'm finding that pretty much most Blogger Blogs look weird to me in Internet Explorer just now. Try using Firefox to view your page and see if it looks any better.
Ooops, typo city! This "withe rusing a picture" should say "by using a picture".
