Things I am not going to say (and a couple of things I am saying)

I was going to blog about mean week at HTML GIant but then I decided I didn't want to get involved.

I was going to blog about something that I then realised I shouldn't say anything about yet.

I was going to blog about work because I am going to do something cool there, but I haven't done it yet so I have decided to wait.

I feel like a tease now.

I have been diagnosed with a probable Pyoderma Gangrenosum on my leg which is sucky but okay. I've been ill for a month now and it's been scary waiting for a diagnosis (waiting to hear if the thing on my leg was malignant took me to a very dark place so a Pyoderma seems like an okay kinda thing in comparison.) I froze rather, so in order to thaw out all those words I put on ice (groan) I have signed up to do this years NaNoWriMo. I signed up once before and managed a contrary word count of zero so this year is bound to be better than that, eh?

Really sorry to hear about your leg. Hope that your other news comes out soon (we are all nosey now!) I would love to do tinky winky po or whatever it's called...do you have to share your work? That might inhibit me. A lot!

Hi Sara
I am so sorry to hear about the leg... Ive never heard of what it is you have... these long Latin names sound long and latin... lets hope it sorts itself out very fast. And look forward to the exciting bits of news too.

oh and - I'd never even heard of HTML Giant. I went to have a look, and I shall go back to never having heard of it, I think.

WRW - nothing that interesting really, I think I may have made it all sound far more thrilling than it is.

Julia - Julia, sign up! You have to put your words in for counting but I believe they are scrambled so nobody else is able to read them. It's all about word count, which is a novel idea to me. I rather fancy the idea of being a churny word machine for a month and then having forever to hone that story.

Vanessa - thanks. I'd never heard of it before either. Not over keen on the gangrene sounding bit!

HTML Giant is often an interesting read, but at other times it becomes this kinda US indie lit crowd being oh so cool and important.

I am signed up. The pressure of this should help...well it can't be NaNoWriLess, anyway!

Sounds manky but treatable. Hope you get it sorted quickly.

Very curious to know those untold words now!
